Our 10\-bedroom townhouse combines relaxed charm with creative flair, and we’re looking for someone who can help us keep everything running smoothly – from a warm guest welcome to an immaculate room check.
What’s the Role?
This is a hands\-on, guest\-focused role that bridges the worlds of hotel and F\&B. You’ll be the heartbeat of the daily operation – organised, reliable and always one step ahead. You’ll be:
- Taking ownership of daily hotel operations – from check\-ins and room checks to ensuring everything is spotless and running smoothly
- Leading service operations, ensuring efficient opening procedures and consistent service standards
- Overseeing breakfast, daytime or evening services, coordinating the team and maintaining a high\-quality guest experience
- Supporting event enquiries and reservations
- Leading events on the day and evening, acting as the main point of contact for hosts and guests when required
- Setting up and running a wide range of events, from large parties to intimate private dining and meetings
- Hosting guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, creating that easy\-going AR atmosphere
- Supporting food \& beverage service where needed, including maintaining strong coffee standards
- Managing daily checklists, timesheets and ensuring all tasks are followed through with care and precision
- Handling basic admin tasks such as cash ups, reports, reservations, and diary management
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance across the property
- Leading by example – calm, conscientious, and always bringing a sense of care and pride
We’re after someone who blends warmth with structure – a true people person who’s also naturally organised and reliable.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management role within a café, boutique hotel, or hospitality environment
- Proven ability to lead high\-volume service while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction
- Events background
- Barista experience required, with confidence in maintaining coffee quality and supporting junior team training
- A strong background in boutique hotels or guest\-focused hospitality
- Calm, professional and efficient with great attention to detail
- Hands\-on, proactive and proud to take ownership of their work
- Confident using booking systems and tech (training provided)
- Presentable and personable, with a natural sense of hospitality
- Flexible to cover a variety of shifts, but primarily daytime focused
- Weekend availability essential
