Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and providing a friendly and professional check\-in and check\-out service.
- Managing hotel reservations using the property management system.
- Handling telephone, email, and face\-to\-face enquiries.
- Processing payments and balancing guest accounts.
- Assisting guests with requests, local information, and hotel services.
- Responding promptly and effectively to guest concerns and complaints.
- Managing room allocations and ensuring guest preferences are noted.
- Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and management teams.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Following hotel policies, security procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Supporting the wider hotel team as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Supporting Conference and Events executives.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Good computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast\-paced environment.
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous hotel reception or hospitality experience.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.
- Experience handling cash and card payments.
- Knowledge of local attractions, transport links, and city centre amenities.
Expected hours: No more than 40\.0 per week
