About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Supervisor to join our front office team. This is a hands\-on role responsible for supporting the day\-to\-day operation of the reception department, ensuring exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered, and leading the team by example.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, customer\-focused, and capable of motivating a team in a fast\-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of the reception department.
- Lead, motivate, and support Receptionists to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Ensure smooth and efficient check\-in and check\-out procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and effectively.
- Assist with training, coaching, and development of front office team members.
- Manage room allocations and work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor reservations, arrivals, departures, and occupancy levels.
- Ensure company procedures and health \& safety standards are followed.
- Support the Front Office Manager with departmental administration and reporting.
- Act as a Duty Manager when required.
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or front office role.
- Supervisory experience within hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and problem\-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Positive, professional, and team\-oriented attitude.
