Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our esteemed establishment. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest service, maintain high standards of hospitality, and lead the front\-of\-house team effectively whilst also being hands on .
Multilingual abilities and strong leadership skills are highly desirable to facilitate seamless communication with diverse guests and staff.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with supervisory experience in the hospitality industry to contribute to the continued success of our hotel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
- Supervise front desk staff, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive service and prompt resolution of issues.
- Coordinate reservations, check\-ins, and check\-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and tact, striving to exceed expectations.
- Assist in managing staff schedules, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to uphold service standards.
- Support human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.
- Promote a welcoming environment by demonstrating leadership in hospitality practices and guest relations.
- Proven supervisory experience within a hotel or similar hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong background in guest services, human resources, and hospitality management is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly advantageous for effective communication with international guests.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Previous experience in managing guest relations and resolving complex issues efficiently.
