Hospitality and Events Manager - Profit Share Option

The Rotunda Heritage Bistro is looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Hospitality and Events Manager to transform an underutilised community asset into a thriving and profitable destination.

Located within the iconic Rotunda, our heritage bistro celebrates the rich history of the local area whilst offering a unique dining experience. The venue includes a welcoming indoor café and event space alongside a beautiful outdoor area, creating endless opportunities for hospitality, events, catering and community engagement.

We are just a ten\-minute walk along a direct route to the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, providing access to thousands of potential customers on match days and event days. We know the opportunity is there. We need someone with the vision, determination and expertise to unlock it.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.


• Competent IT and digital skills.

Essential Experience

• Significant management experience within hospitality, catering, café, restaurant or events environments.


• Proven track record of increasing sales, profitability and customer engagement.


• Experience managing budgets and financial performance.


• Experience leading and motivating teams.


• Experience delivering excellent customer service.


• Experience planning and delivering events.

Desirable Experience

• Experience managing venue hire operations.


• Experience establishing or growing a hospitality business.


• Experience developing external catering services.


• Experience working within social enterprise, charity or community settings.


• Experience working with volunteers.

Essential Skills

• Commercial awareness and business acumen.


• Excellent leadership and people management skills.


• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.


• Ability to identify and develop new income opportunities.
