An Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic History Graduate to join their support team as a Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a career in teaching, education, pastoral support, or youth work.

The Role • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 History lessons

  • Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • Helping students build confidence and engagement in humanities subjects

  • Gaining valuable classroom experience before teacher training

The Ideal Candidate • A UK degree in History or a related subject
  • Passionate about education and working with young people

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
