Hire Controller

Exciting Opportunity for a Hire Controller within a niche plant hire company.

GGR Group Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our busy hire desk based at Haddenham as a Hire Controller.

Key responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

• Delivering an industry leading customer experience


• To manage incoming customer telephone and email enquiries, first point of call for customer’s making enquiries.


• Identifying the correct solution to the customers requirement with support from the technical department


• Creating, delivering, and following up on customer quotations completing all required paperwork and documentation


• To negotiate the commercial elements of the proposed solution with the customer by phone with a view to successfully securing the order


• To convert incoming Purchase Orders ensuring the equipment required is available, sending order confirmation to the customer.


• To bring the customer to a positive decision securing the order and processing all the required paperwork and documentation for equipment and operators where required


• Creating customer contracts and coordinating delivery of the correct solution at the agreed time and date


• Maximizing fleet efficiency by utilizing assets in other locations and arranging inter depot transfers


• Working closely with field sales to highlight and follow up on strong potential opportunities


• Managing several individually allocated key customers

· Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills

· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and part of a team whilst taking initiative.

· Excellent attention to detail

· Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must for prioritizing workload/tasks (sometimes within a short time frame).

· Good customer service skills

· Comfortable working on different software systems

Desirable

· Hire controller/quoting experience

· Plant Hire industry experience

· Technical knowledge

· Knowledge or experience with SAP/Insphire

Job Terms

Monday \- Friday 8\.30am \- 5\.30pm

24 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

4% Pension Match

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
