We are seeking a talented Web Developer and SEO specialist to join our team in Gloucester. This role is vital in enhancing our online presence and ensuring our digital platforms effectively support our business growth. The successful candidate will be based in Gloucester and contribute to our mission of delivering quality products and outstanding service.
Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise our company website using modern web technologies.


• Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.


• Manage content updates through the website software and other content management systems.


• Analyse website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.


• Enhance website metadata, structure, and social media integration for better visibility.


• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop digital campaigns.


• Monitor website health with tools like Google Tag Manager.


• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and SEO to ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Skills:

• Advanced website development (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS)


• Technical SEO (schema, sitemaps, crawl optimisation, Core Web Vitals)


• Google Analytics 4 (events, conversions, custom reports)


• Google Tag Manager


• Google Search Console


• E‑commerce optimisation


• Speed optimisation (CDN, caching, image compression)


• UX/UI design awareness


• Strong copywriting for SEO


• Qualifications \- Batchelors or other related degree


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.


• Preferred: Experience in social media management.


• A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and techniques.
