As the HGV Class 2 Recycler Operator, you'll work as part of a two-person team delivering specialist drainage, jetting, and industrial cleaning services across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
This is a hands-on operational role involving the use of specialist vacuum tanker and high-pressure jetting equipment while maintaining excellent safety and service standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating Class 2 jet vac and vacuum tanker vehicles
- Using high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear and maintain drainage systems
- Travelling to customer sites across the region as part of an operational team
- Carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and minor maintenance tasks
- Completing job records and operational documentation accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and PPE compliance
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to team operations
- Providing professional customer service on-site
- Reporting equipment defects or site hazards promptly
- Full UK Class 2 driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain one
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Practical, hands-on approach to work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
