HGV Class 1 Artic Driver - Tramping

Patersons Quarries are an independent quarrying company based in Coatbridge, we have sites across the central belt of Scotland and supply a wide range of quarry products, ready\-mix concrete, concrete blocks and concrete bricks.

We are currently recruiting for Class 1 Artic Tipper Drivers based at our site in Rigside, as Class 1 Tramper, you will be willing to stay away from home for three/four nights per week

Reporting to the Transport Manager you will be driving vehicles to various sites across the UK to deliver loads in a timely and efficient manner. You will have a safe and efficient approach to driving, with the ability to ensure that your vehicle is kept in good condition. You will also be required to complete daily safety checks and report any vehicle defects to the Transport Department.

Experience:

• You must be willing to be away from home 3/4 nights per week


• You must have a valid category C\+E licence.


• You also must have 2 years experience on a Class 1 Tipper Vehicle.


• You should have no more than 6 points on your licence


• Understanding of safe working practices


• Willing to adhere to health \& safety regulations.

We require candidate to be able to work flexibly, as although the role is Monday to Friday, regular overtime work is a requirement due to the nature of the business. Weekend work is also available during busier periods.
