HGV Class 1 and 2 Multi Driver (Days)

JG Pears is a long established, highly successful and expanding animal rendering operation with a modern fleet of vehicles. We are looking to recruit an HGV Class 1 and 2 Multi Driver to operate from our Twycross site, CV9 3LP.

About the Role

This is a days only role, working an average of 50 hours per week with start times between 4am and 6am. The position involves a mixture of Class 1 and Class 2 work, supporting operational requirements across the business.

• Completing all legally required documentation relating to the movement of products


• Adhering to drivers’ hours rules and regulations, including working time regulations


• Using tachographs and carrying out daily vehicle checks

Requirements

• Hold valid HGV Class 1 (C\+E) and Class 2 (Category C) licences, together with a current Driver CPC card


• Experience in the movement of animal by products would be advantageous


• ADR qualification desirable, but not essential


• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake both Class 1 and Class 2 duties as required

• Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers: 1 year (preferred)
