HGV Car Transport Driver (Class 1 / C+E) £46,926 Basic Salary + Overtime & Nights Out (OTE £60,000+)

Nick Pelosi Ltd is an established vehicle logistics company based in Milton Keynes, providing nationwide vehicle transport services for manufacturers, dealer groups, fleet operators and automotive businesses throughout the UK.

We are looking for a professional Class 1 (C\+E) driver to join our transport team.

This is a varied role involving the collection and delivery of cars and light commercial vehicles across the UK. As one of our drivers, you’ll represent both Nick Pelosi Ltd and our customers, ensuring vehicles are transported safely and professionally while delivering the high standards of customer service our clients expect.

Full training will be provided on vehicle loading, securing and customer handover procedures.

What you’ll be doing

● Collecting and delivering cars and light commercial vehicles throughout the UK

● Loading and unloading vehicle transporters safely and efficiently

● Completing professional customer handovers for new vehicle deliveries

● Collecting vehicles from ports, dealerships, compounds and customer premises

● Completing vehicle condition reports and transport documentation

● Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

You’ll primarily drive a 10\-tonne rigid transporter with a 3\.5\-tonne trailer, although there will also be opportunities to operate 13\-tonne three\-car transporters and Class 1 articulated transporters carrying up to five vehicles.

Our work includes manufacturer deliveries, dealer transfers, fleet movements, port collections and customer handovers. It’s specialist vehicle logistics rather than general haulage, offering a varied and rewarding role.

Working hours vary depending on customer requirements. Early starts are common, with a guaranteed 48\-hour week, regular overtime and occasional nights out providing excellent earning potential.

What we’re looking for

● Full C\+E Licence

● Driver CPC

● Digital Tachograph Card

● Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations

● Good geographical knowledge of the UK

● Professional appearance and excellent communication skills

● HGV driving experience (5 years preferred)

● Physically fit and confident loading and unloading vehicle transporters
