Pertemps is recruiting experienced 7.5t (C1) day drivers to support operations at the Swindon Mail Centre for Royal Mail.

The Day Role
You’ll be completing planned trunk runs between Royal Mail depots, transporting mail and parcels between distribution centres.
This is primarily driving work, operating clean, well-maintained vehicles from organised depots. Occasional movement of mail cages may be required, but the focus is on safe, efficient driving.

- Driving a 7.5t vehicle between Royal Mail depots
- Completing planned trunk routes safely and efficiently
- Following driver hours and WTD regulations
- Completing manual tachograph entries when required
- Maintaining a professional standard of driving and site conduct
- Valid 7.5t (C1) licence held for at least 2 years
- 180+ days proven commercial driving experience
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card essential
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, TT endorsements)
- Good knowledge of driver hours and WTD rules
- Ability to complete manual tachograph entries
- Able to pass a DBS security check
- Successful site assessment and induction
