As a Healthcare Support Worker, you’ll support individuals in their own homes to live comfortably, safely, and with confidence. You’ll provide compassionate, person\-centred care while promoting independence and dignity at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high\-quality personal care tailored to individual needs
- Support with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and help clients move safely within their home
- Prepare nutritious meals and support with eating and drinking where required
- Administer or assist with medication in line with care plans and policies
- Carry out light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Follow safeguarding, health \& safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to provide outstanding care
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- A great listener with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Confident working independently and as part of a supportive team
- Organised, with good time\-management skills
- A full UK driving licence is an advantage, but walkers are very welcome
