The role:

We are a seeking caring, enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Support Worker join our District Nursing teams across West Dunbartonshire.

The District Nursing Service delivers skilled nursing interventions which encompass a broad spectrum of nursing skills order to provide a service which places the person and those who are important to them at the centre of the care they provide.

The post holder will have SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare (or equivalent experience) and the ability to work with people and as part of a team. It is also essential that the post holder can work alone in a clinical/homely setting. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential.

Applicants should have current experience as a HCSW.

Previous community experience within District Nursing is desirable but not essential \- we are keen to recruit those with a passion for community nursing and seeking the job satisfaction that working as part of a wider team.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.

All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

This is a permanent, part\-time post of 21\.5 hours per week (over 7 days).

The role is based at the Vale Centre for Health and Care.
