Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Carers / Support Workers to join our team in Maidstone. The successful candidate will provide high\-quality, person\-centred care and support to individuals within their own homes, including those with complex healthcare needs. Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, supported living, residential care, or complex care is preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, or respiratory conditions is desirable.
- Full training and competency assessments will be provided where required.
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills for electronic care records.
- Compassionate and person\-centred approach to care.
- Support individuals with complex healthcare needs in accordance with care plans and risk assessments.
- Support clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling practices.
- Follow individual care plans and provide support tailored to each person's needs and preferences.
- Support clients with meal preparation, hydration, and medication support where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely care records using electronic care systems.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's health, wellbeing, or circumstances.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Accompany or transport clients to appointments and community activities where required.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion.
