£13\.10 per hour depending on experience

As a Healthcare Assistant within Outpatients at our hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an SVQ / NVQ Level 2 in Health \& Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting. You will need a flexible approach to both duties and hours.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients, you will:
- Assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry and Physiotherapy
- Enjoy more time to care for patients as individuals
- Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
- Make sure the day\-to\-day operations of our various clinics run smoothly
- Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care
