Contract options
Trainee rate (min. 2 QQI modules started)
● Mon–Fri: €14\.15 per hour
● Sat \& Sun: €15\.50 per hour
Qualified rate (full QQI Level 5\)
● Mon–Fri: €14\.75 per hour
● Sat \& Sun: €18\.00 per hour
Home Support
● Must be a driver with 2 QQI modules complete
● Mon–Fri (8am–9pm): €16\.00 per hour
● Every second weekend: 1 day (Sat or Sun)
○ Sat: €18\.00 per hour \| Sun: €19\.00 per hour
Community Carer
● Must be a driver with 2 QQI modules complete
● Rotating pattern (8am–9pm):
○ Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
○ Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri
● Mon–Fri: €16\.00 per hour \| Sat: €18\.00 \| Sun: €19\.00
€750 guaranteed contract
● Guaranteed €750 per week before tax, including €1 travel time per hour call
● Must be a driver with 2 core QQI modules complete
● Rotating pattern (8am–9pm):
○ Week 1: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
○ Week 2: Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
What you’ll do
Support clients to live independently at home through:
● Personal care
● Meal preparation
● Light household duties
● Medication supervision \& mobility support
● Providing companionship and wellbeing support
Due to the requirement to provide intimate personal care to a female service user, this post is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with applicable equality legislation.
What you’ll need
● QQI Level 5 Healthcare (minimum 2 modules started/completed)
● Full driving licence \& own transport
● Good communication skills
● Caring, reliable and compassionate attitude
