Craddock House Nursing Home, part of the Virtue Integrated Elder Care Group, is a purpose\-built nursing home located in Naas, Co. Kildare.

We are delighted to invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of Full\-Time Healthcare Assistant (HCA) and become part of our dedicated and caring team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of holistic, person\-centred care while promoting residents' dignity, privacy, choice and independence.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, dressing, mobility, dining and social activities.
- Provide additional support to residents with limited mobility.
- Follow individual care plans and immediately report any changes in a resident's physical or mental wellbeing to the nursing team.
- Report any incident or potential concern that may compromise the health, safety or wellbeing of residents, staff or visitors.
- Maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families and colleagues.
- Support and contribute to resident activities and events.
Essential Criteria
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare full award or equivalent, or a relevant Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare qualification.
- Previous experience in elder care is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, respectful and resident\-focused approach.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
