About the role
Health X Hearing is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our growing hearing health team in Thurnscoe. You'll deliver ear cleaning and hearing screening services directly to patients, seeing around 6–8 patients per day, while working alongside our wider healthcare and audiology network.

Key responsibilities

• Run hearing screening tests using the Tympa Health system


• Run ear cleaning procedures through the Tympa Health system


• See approximately 6–8 patients per day


• Welcome and prepare clients ahead of their appointment


• Record patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality (GDPR)


• Support day\-to\-day running of the clinic


• Escalate results and concerns to the relevant clinical lead

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)


• Experience working in a healthcare setting (hospital, nursing home, residential home, or domiciliary care)


• Comfortable using computers, phones, and other everyday digital tools


• Training or competency in ear cleaning procedures — or willingness to be trained


• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient\-focused manner

• Previous experience with hearing screening or audiology equipment


• First Aid certification

Pay: £26,880\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
