  • Location: Wolverhampton WV2

  • Pay: £13:00 \- £14\.00 per hour

  • Shifts: Part\-time days \| Monday \& Friday, 8am–4pm \| Ad hoc night shifts

About This Role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to support a wonderful 6\-year\-old boy at home and at school.

He is a happy, sociable child who enjoys interaction, conversation and being sung to. He also loves school and enjoys the routine of his day.

You will start your shift at the family home, supporting him to get ready before travelling with him to school using provided transport. At school, you will support his engagement, interaction and participation, alongside his clinical and care needs. You will then travel back home with him and continue supporting him until the end of your shift.

The role includes personal care and clinical interventions, with full training provided where required, including specialist respiratory care.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in\-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.

  • Have the right to work in the UK\*

  • Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child\-centred care.

  • Be willing to complete client\-specific, clinical training where required.

  • Be comfortable working in a pet\-friendly environment and around household pets.

  • Be comfortable working in a school environment and supporting the child throughout the school day.

  • Be flexible and available to pick up ad hoc night shifts during school holidays and non\-term time.
