Health Screener (Fixed-Term Contract)

Your mission

• Conduct wellness screenings on site with clients.


• Collect blood samples.


• Measure blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist circumference.


• For Surveillance, audiometry, spirometry, VDU, etc


• Set up and take down of pop\-up screening clinic at client site.


• Ensure screening equipment is cleaned and maintained.


• Ensure medical waste is stored and disposed of appropriately.


• Provide general advice on healthy living practices where required.


• Use Medmark’s software system to record accurate records of client assessments.

Working hours: 22\.5 hours per week#### Your profile

• Appropriate qualifications in nursing, phlebotomy and/or health surveillance. Any similar experience is desirable.


• Proven experience with phlebotomy.


• Appropriate qualifications for administering vaccinations are not essential but desirable.


• Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal, empathy and listening skills.


• Strong organizational and planning skills including time management with proven track record of prioritizing key tasks and delivery to a high professional standard.


• Strong team member with proven ability to establish and maintain effective working people relationships.


• Access to own transport is essential.


• Garda vetted.


• Flexibility to work at client sites nationwide.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good IT skills and experience with electronic health records.
