Band 2 – Health Care Support Worker

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity to join our Adult Acute Mental Health Pine Ward at The Redwoods Centre Shrewsbury. Pine ward is a mixed gender adult inpatient facility of 15 beds which provides care and support patients of 18 years old upwards.

To provide support, and spend therapeutic time with an allocated group of service users with mental health needs.

To promote service user’s recovery through the delivery of high quality, outcome measured care and evidence based interventions.

To assist Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans

Regularly report and effectively communicate service users’ health status and care aims in care records and verbal reports to Registered Professional Staff members and other members of the multi\-disciplinary team, including while supporting section 136 assessments and ECT treatment.
