Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Supporting clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as per care plans


• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients


• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary


• Maintaining accurate records of care provided in accordance with organisational policies


• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals


• Driving to various locations for home care visits when required


• Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds


• Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately


• Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes


• Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting home care roles


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
