Health Care Assistant/Support Worker
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistants/Support Workers to provide high\-quality care to our clients across various settings, including care homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Experience in elderly care, children with learning disabilities, dementia, or hospice care is highly desirable. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support patients with specialised needs including Alzheimer’s, dementia, and behaviour management
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and update care plans regularly
- Support with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Monitor patients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance overall wellbeing
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures
- Proven experience in nursing home, care home, or home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice care, and behaviour management techniques
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties is advantageous but not essential
- Organised with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: £12\.45\-£13\.00 per hour
