Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high\-quality support to individuals in care homes and nursing homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in IT, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders

  • Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems

  • Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure consistent and compassionate care

  • Help with household tasks including light cleaning and meal preparation when required

  • Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as needed

  • Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 months experience is required

  • Valid driving licence is desirable but no need to drive

  • DBS in the last 12 months

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written

  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
