Health Care Assistant
Join OS Clinic and help us deliver an exceptional patient experience.
OS Clinic is a clinician\-led specialist practice founded by world\-leading surgeons. Our team of 31 specialists provides outstanding care across orthopaedics, pain management, sports medicine, rheumatology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our clinical team and play an important part in delivering safe, personal and seamless care for every patient.
What you'll be doing
No two days will be quite the same. Working alongside our nurses, radiographers, consultants and wider multidisciplinary team, you'll:
- Welcome, support and reassure patients throughout their visit
- Carry out venepuncture and routine clinical observations
- Prepare and support patients during assessments, investigations and procedures
- Assist the clinical team in delivering safe, high\-quality care
- Recognise and escalate changes or concerns about a patient's condition
- Maintain excellent infection prevention, clinical safety and record\-keeping standards
- Help ensure our clinics run smoothly, including providing administrative support when needed
What we're looking for
You'll already have experience working in a healthcare or clinical environment and providing direct patient care. Venepuncture experience and competency is essential.
You'll also bring strong communication skills, a caring and professional approach, good organisation and attention to detail, and the confidence to work both independently within your competencies and collaboratively as part of a busy clinical team.
Experience in an outpatient or private clinic environment would be an advantage, but it's your commitment to excellent patient care that matters most.
Why OS Clinic?
We're building an environment where a great people experience and patient experience go hand in hand. You'll be joining a collaborative specialist team where your contribution matters and where we're continually looking for ways to improve the care and experience we provide.
Great people. Great care. One OS Experience.
Interested? We'd love to hear from you.
