Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well\-being. Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance

  • Support in the preparation and delivery of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs

  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals (training provided)

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care activities using IT systems

  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care

  • Support with household tasks including light cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry for residents or clients

  • Facilitate social activities and promote emotional well\-being of individuals under your care

  • Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures

Experience
  • Prior experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided

  • Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans

  • Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members

  • Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between multiple locations or home visits

  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals in their daily lives
