Job Overview

We are looking for reliable, caring and experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to join our team and support services across Nottingham, Leicester, Derbyshire and nearby areas.

This role is suitable for someone who is compassionate, professional, flexible and confident working in care settings. The successful candidate should be able to provide high\-quality support to service users while maintaining dignity, respect and safety at all times.

Applicants who have a valid UK driving licence and access to their own car will be preferred, as travel may be required to different work locations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide person\-centred care and support to service users.

  • Assist with personal care where required.

  • Support service users with daily living activities.

  • Promote independence, dignity and choice.

  • Assist with meals, fluids and general wellbeing.

  • Support with mobility and moving and handling where needed.

  • Follow care plans, risk assessments and workplace policies.

  • Report any changes, concerns or safeguarding issues to the senior staff or manager.

  • Maintain accurate records where required.

  • Communicate professionally with service users, families and colleagues.

  • Work as part of a team and follow instructions from senior staff.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Ensure safe working practices are followed.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in care or support work is preferred.

  • A caring, patient and respectful attitude.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Reliability and good timekeeping.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights and weekends.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Willingness to travel for work.

  • Must be able to work safely and professionally in different care environments.
