Job Description \& Skills Required

In Fairfield we mainly specialize in dementia care, but we also have a more diverse mix of residents in our care. Our approach is based on Accepting a person’s reality; Make the person feel they matter; Connect and be with people moment by moment; Surround our resident with memories; Remembering that a person with dementia “CAN STILL FEEL”. Carers are required to care for our residents in a home away from home environment. You need to be a good team player. This is great opportunity to work in a team environment with excellent working conditions.

Required: Applicants need to have or be participating in a QQI level 5 carers course or equivalent and must have a good level of spoken English as communication is a key part of caring.

Job Type: Full\-time/Part\-time Nights

Schedule: 12 hour shift; Night shift.
