Health Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well\-being. Responsibilities

• Assisting residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility


• Supporting individuals with their daily routines according to personalised care plans


• Monitoring and recording health conditions and reporting any concerns to senior staff


• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients


• Assisting with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals


• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems


• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery


• Driving between different care locations or clients’ homes as required


• Upholding health and safety standards in line with organisational policies

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided


• Familiarity with developing or following care plans is desirable


• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are preferred


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential


• Valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving travel between locations


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals

Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.50 per hour
