We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high\-quality support to residents and clients, promoting their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
Whether working in a care home or providing care in clients’ homes, you will play an important role in improving the quality of life of those we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, personal care, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.
- Support the development and delivery of personalised care plans based on individual needs.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using electronic care\-record systems.
- Regularly update care plans and report any changes in clients’ needs or wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Drive between different locations when required for home\-care assignments, providing a reliable and timely service.
- Follow all health and safety, safeguarding, infection\-control, and workplace procedures.
- Attend training and development sessions to continuously improve your knowledge and care skills.
- Previous experience in a care home or home\-care setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Valid UK driving licence and ability to drive between locations for home\-care assignments.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Basic IT skills and the ability to use electronic care\-record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, respectful, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and other shifts as required.
- Commitment to providing person\-centred, compassionate care.
Driving staff only: Subject to eligibility, performance, business requirements, and the organisation's ability to sponsor, there may be an opportunity to be considered for visa sponsorship after 3 months of employment.

Pay: £25,420\.00\-£35,855\.68 per year
