Health Care Assistant

Better Living Homecare is a Nurse\-led and family\-run local homecare company based in Trim, Co. Meath. We provide care in their own homes for people incapacitated due to a disability or illness and for people who are elderly and need some support with the normal activities of daily living.

We are seeking to recruit to add to our team of experienced Home Care Assistants in the Trim area.
Essential requirements for these roles:

• QQI level 5 or level 6 qualification in healthcare (minimum of Level 5 care skills \& care of the elderly completed)


• Full drivers licence and car ownership


• Have more than 1 year of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant


• If you don't have the relevant qualifications or experience, see below)


• A valid permit to work in Ireland (applicable to non\-EU nationals only). We don't provide sponsorship for visa applicants

• Starting hourly rate of €15\.30 per hour where all the essential requirements outlined above are met. With 2 or more years experience, starting rate is €16\.32 per hour


• Enhanced rates for any calls that are less than an hour and for Sunday \& bank holiday work


• Generous travel allowance


• €500 bonus for every new Carer referral


• Loyalty bonus payable at the end of each year tax\-free based on a percentage of the hours worked during the year
