About the Role As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across BTEC and vocational Health & Social Care programmes.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Support students in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for careers in health, social care, and related sectors.
- Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Work closely with the wider curriculum and support teams to ensure strong student outcomes.
- Strong industry knowledge — nursing, midwifery, NHS or social care backgrounds highly welcomed.
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
