This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Health & Social Care educator to support learners studying WJEC AS and A Level Health & Social Care. If you have a strong track record of delivering engaging Level 3 teaching and are looking for a flexible part-time opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to AS and A Level students, helping them develop the knowledge, understanding and confidence needed to succeed in their studies.
Assignment Details:
Role: Lecturer in A Level Health & Social Care
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: 21 September
End Date: 16 December
Hours: 6 hours per week
- 4 teaching hours
- 2 administration hours
- Flexible timetable available on either Tuesday or Friday
- Deliver outstanding WJEC AS and A Level Health & Social Care lessons
- Plan and prepare engaging learning activities that inspire student achievement
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Support students to achieve their academic potential
- Maintain accurate records and complete associated administration
- Contribute positively to the learner experience and academic success of the department
- Experience delivering WJEC AS and A Level Health & Social Care
- Strong subject knowledge within Health & Social Care
- Experience teaching at Level 3 or A Level
- A recognised teaching qualification, or substantial FE teaching experience
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for helping learners succeed
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- EWC Registered
