Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Health and Safety Consultant to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing workplace environments, developing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various departments and sites to identify potential hazards.

  • Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies in line with current legislation and best practices.

  • Provide specialised advice on safety procedures, equipment, and organisational practices to minimise risks.

  • Lead training sessions on health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures, for staff members.

  • Perform root cause analysis following incidents or near\-misses to determine underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Prepare detailed reports on safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance status for management review.

  • Monitor ongoing safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in health and safety consultancy or related roles within an organisational setting.

  • recognised qualification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent).

  • First aid certification is highly desirable.

  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques to investigate incidents effectively.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards before they result in incidents. Pay: £31,123\.69\-£50,000\.00 per year
