About the Role As a Health & Wellbeing Practitioner within CAMHS, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based low to medium intensity interventions to children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Support assessment, formulation, and care planning alongside senior clinicians
- Facilitate one-to-one and group-based therapeutic interventions
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies
- Contribute to safeguarding, risk assessment, and ongoing clinical reviews
- Help promote resilience, recovery, and improved wellbeing outcomes
- Experience working within CAMHS or children’s mental health services
- A background in health, social care, psychology, or related fields
- Strong communication and engagement skills with young people and families
- A good understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A proactive, flexible, and reflective approach to care
