Health & Safety Manager

Location: Epsom, Horley & Godstone Areas
Salary: Circa £58,000+ plus excellent benefits
Working Pattern: Full-Time | Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support a multi-site property portfolio across offices, depots and logistics locations. This is a highly visible, field-based role where you'll spend the majority of your time working directly with operational teams, delivering safety clinics and ensuring compliance across a diverse estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert Health & Safety advice and guidance across a multi-site property portfolio

  • Deliver regular Health & Safety clinics to managers and frontline employees across multiple locations

  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety and environmental legislation

  • Conduct property safety inspections, audits and compliance reviews

  • Identify, escalate and support the resolution of safety-critical issues

  • Review contractor RAMS, permits to work and competency documentation

  • Support property maintenance, refurbishment and construction projects

  • Provide guidance on CDM requirements and contractor management

  • Lead and support accident and incident investigations

  • Work closely with stakeholders to promote a positive and proactive safety culture

  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance standards

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the estate

About You
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is essential

  • NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (or equivalent) is essential

  • Proven experience managing Health & Safety compliance across a multi-site property or facilities environment

  • Strong knowledge of UK property safety and environmental legislation

  • Experience reviewing RAMS, permits to work and contractor competency assessments

  • Proven experience carrying out accident and incident investigations

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable building relationships with managers and frontline teams across multiple sites

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to influence positive change

  • Experience supporting a dispersed frontline workforce would be highly advantageous

  • Previous experience delivering site-based safety clinics is desirable

  • Similar industry experience would be beneficial

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required

Additional Information
  • This is a predominantly field-based role

  • Expect to be on-site up to four days per week, engaging directly with operational teams and stakeholders
