WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing for a partial IPO. Therefore, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).
As Head of Treasury and M&A, you will hold a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of financial strategy and corporate growth. You will be responsible for building and leading a global Treasury function while simultaneously executing the company's M&A agenda.

• In your new position, you define and implement a global treasury strategy, ensuring sustainable liquidity, optimized funding structures and a resilient capital structure while actively managing financial risks across the organization.


• Together with your colleagues, you steer global cash and liquidity management, including sophisticated cash pooling structures, lead financing activities on debt and capital markets and further develop strategic relationships with banks, creditors and rating agencies.


• Furthermore, you take full ownership of financial risk management (FX, interest rate, and counterparty risks), design and execute effective hedging strategies and continuously improve treasury governance, policies as well as systems to meet evolving regulatory and business requirements.


• Leadership with heart and mind: you build and lead a high-performing, integrated Treasury and M&A organization, develop a scalable operating model aligned with the company's growth ambitions and IPO roadmap and act as a trusted sparring partner to the CFO and executive leadership on capital allocation, funding strategy and investment priorities.


• Not least, you execute M&A transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution, while coordinating external advisors, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, and preparing sound decision bases for executive and board-level approvals.

• completed degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field


• extensive leadership experience in corporate treasury and/or M&A / corporate finance, with a proven track record in dynamic environments such as transformations, IPO readiness or high-growth settings


• strong expertise in financing, capital markets and banking relationship management as well as hands-on experience executing M&A transactions


• proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality


• excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with exposure to C-level and investors, paired with strong strategic thinking, execution capabilities and a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset


• fluent English skills (German is a plus)
