Head of Supply Chain (Lagos)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and oversee supply chain operations within a dynamic airline and AMO environment in Lagos.

The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement, logistics, inventory control, vendor management, contracts, warehousing, and aviation supply chain compliance to ensure smooth and uninterrupted technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, contracts, and inventory


• Develop strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier agreements


• Ensure aircraft parts and materials are available to avoid operational delays and AOG events


• Monitor supplier performance and manage supply chain risk


• Oversee warehousing and logistics management


• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and quality standards


• Manage departmental budgets and operational performance


• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline


• Minimum 10 years’ aviation supply chain/procurement experience


• Minimum 5 years in a management or leadership position


• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance operations and MRO environments


• Knowledge of EASA/FAA regulatory requirements


• Experience with SAP, Oracle, AMOS, or similar ERP/MRO systems


• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Master’s degree


• Airline or AMO experience
