The menu ranges from classic daily specials and seasonal dishes to breakfast, snacks, grilled items and desserts. As Head of Purchase, you shape and steer the organisation’s strategic procurement vision, safeguarding full compliance with standards and specifications while leading high‑impact contract negotiations that strengthen long‑term value creation.

You report directly to the CEO.

THESE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A HEAD OF PURCHASE:

• You coordinate and are responsible for purchasing various product groups, both food and non\-food.


• You coordinate and are responsible for implementing the menu plan and food costs. You work closely with the Head of Marketing and the Head of Product \& Quality.


• You negotiate with the Technical Manager on the purchase contracts for energy, equipment and materials included in the investment budgets.


• You ensure the planning and organisation of the activities of the purchasing department.


• You support the various departments in the selection of new suppliers.


• You are an inspiring coach for your employee.


• You write the (purchasing) policy and draws up the HACCP standards and ensure compliance with them.


• You work closely with other departments in the context of contract negotiations or strategic purchases for the companies.


• You are the preferred contact person for the logistics partner and ensures the proper execution of the contract.


• You are responsible for integrating cost price and sale price data into the various operational software programmes.

• With a solid academic background – a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree – you bring the right foundation to take on this strategic role. At least 8 years of proven experience in a senior purchase leadership position shaped your ability to lead with both vision and impact.


• Fluency in Dutch and French is essential to operate confidently across the organization and with stakeholders; proficiency in English is a welcome bonus.


• Extensive knowledge of food and related standards (HACCP, etc.).


• Experience in purchasing equipment and knowledge of other areas such as buildings (remodelling, etc.) is a significant advantage.


• Knowledge of and/or experience in logistics is an advantage.


• Strong strategic and analytical thinking goes hand in hand with a pragmatic, solution\-oriented mindset. Challenges are approached with clarity, logic, and decisiveness, always with an eye on results and maintaining proper customer\-supplier relationships.


• You balance business goals with a deep respect for the human factor. Integrity, discretion, and a high sense of responsibility are the values that define your style.
