Location

You may be based in either Edinburgh, Glasgow or Dundee

Regular office attendance in Glasgow and Edinburgh will be

required for the initial 4 weeks for training and development.

Attendance will be required once a week in your home office

thereafter or as and when required.

The role will require regular travel between Edinburgh and

Glasgow for meetings, as well as travel to other COPFS

Job summary

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service are recruiting a Head of Performance and Data Analytics, this is a key leadership role where you will need to confidently operate with senior stakeholders while leading an organisation\-wide performance and data function. In this role, you’ll bring together performance management and data analytics to provide clear, trusted insight that informs decision\-making at all levels, working closely with the Executive Team, Chief Data Office and Information Governance, Security and Assurance Unit (IGSAU).### Job description

This opportunity will suit you if you have strong experience of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, translating complex data into meaningful insight, and managing performance frameworks within a complex organisation. You’ll need to be comfortable working across organisational boundaries, leading teams and driving tangible improvement through data. If your experience doesn’t include working with data and insight, or you haven’t operated at this level of organisational impact, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.### Person specification

We are seeking a strategic and credible performance and data analytics leader who can operate confidently at senior level within a

complex organisation. You will bring strong professional judgement and the ability to translate organisational priorities into clear,

meaningful performance frameworks, underpinned by high quality data, analytics and insight.

You will use evidence to advise senior leaders, support effective decision making and drive improvement, while ensuring that data,

modelling and insight are trusted, robust and used effectively across the organisation.

This role will suit someone motivated by improving public services, who views performance management as a tool for learning,

accountability and better outcomes rather than compliance alone.Benefits
