Hours: Full time 37\.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon\-Fri)
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
THE ROLE
Step into a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the Bank’s commercial and strategic engagement with bank and non\-bank lenders. This is your opportunity to shape relationship management and origination strategy in conjunction with the product teams, strengthen national relationships with lenders, other stakeholders and influence how the Bank supports the SME finance market.
Leading the Origination \& Relationship Management function, you will be the voice of the market in the development and marketing of Banking products. This will be in close coordination with Banking Product and Strategy teams, ensuring the Bank responds effectively to changing economic and market conditions. You will also provide senior leadership across the Banking business, representing the Chief Banking Officer where required and championing areas such as ESG, CRM and colleague development.
Lead a high‑performing team and create the environment for strong commercial delivery, effective collaboration and a consistent approach to partner engagement. You will bring deep expertise in the SME finance landscape, strong commercial instincts and a proven track record in relationship management, marketing and high\-level knowledge of debt capital markets and/or SME securitisation.
In this role you will influence, provide strategic leadership and help shape the future of the British Business Bank’s products to support SME debt finance, and provide a platform that will make a significant national impact
