Description
As a subsidiary of a global group with 4,000 employees, our entity designs and markets mission\-critical software and IoT solutions for the global airport sector. As part of our structural expansion in the United Kingdom, we are seeking a hybrid profile capable of leading Global Operations while serving as the Managing Director (MD Light) for our British entity.
The position is based in London.
Key Responsabilities
Global Operations \& Support Management (70%)
- International Deployment: Oversee the installation and commissioning of IoT solutions across more than 150 international sites.
- Maintenance \& SLA: Ensure system availability for 10,000\+ devices in service and guarantee compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for key global accounts.
- Supply Chain \& Logistics: Lead the international supply chain, managing inventories of new hardware and spare parts to ensure zero operational downtime..
- Legal Representation: Act as the local point of contact and legal representative for the UK subsidiary (Managing Director Light).
- Local Governance: Ensure the subsidiary’s compliance with local regulations (labour law, tax, safety) in coordination with Group support functions.
- Leadership: Manage the London\-based team and foster a culture of excellence aligned with Group values.
- Local Networking: Maintain and develop relationships with airport authorities and strategic partners within the United Kingdom.
- Client Contracts: Supervise the drafting, execution, and renewal of service and maintenance contracts.
- Supplier Relations: Negotiate and manage contracts with hardware suppliers, logistics providers, and third\-party service contractors.
Profil recherché
Candidate Profile
- Background: British national or professional with deep integration into the UK business ecosystem, possessing significant experience in international environments.
- Education: Master’s degree (Engineering, Business School, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 10\-15 years of experience in technical operations, ideally within the aerospace or industrial IoT sectors.
- Soft Skills:
- Executive presence with the ability to represent the company locally.
- Extreme organizational rigour and sharp priority management.
- Ability to navigate a complex international matrix structure.
- Location: London (with frequent international travel).
- Compensation: Attractive package (Base \+ Variable) in line with London market standards.
