- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve business targets.
- Oversee product selection, pricing, and inventory management to maximise sales and profitability.
- Analyse market trends and customer preferences to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and marketing, to ensure cohesive brand representation.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess product success.
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals within the retail department.
- Ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and brand identity.
A successful Head of Merchandising - Fashion should have:
- Proven experience in merchandising within the fashion industry.
- Experience working at Head of level for at least a few years
- A strong background in retail and FMCG operations.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data effectively.
- Leadership qualities to manage and inspire a team.
- A deep understanding of premium fashion trends and consumer behaviour.
- Strategic thinker, likes to plan long term and think bigger picture
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Salary ranging from £70,000 to £72,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working arrangements in Central London.
