Head of Manufacturing

We are looking to recruit a Head of Manufacturing for our client in Buckingham. Taking the lead and full responsibility for operations across the UK, you will be ensuring strong operational performance and consistency within the company. Established and trusted in their field the company are looking for an experienced individual to oversee manufacturing in Manchester and Northamptonshire.

Based in Buckingham but travelling across the sites as necessary you will be working hours to support the business need. Offering £80,000-£100,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing operations across multiples sites


• Be responsible for profit and loss, budgets and cost control


• Support efficiency, productivity and development in the company


• Build and lead high performing teams


• Guarantee compliance with quality standards


• Work in line with business growth to scale capacity


• Draw clear focus and consistency on standards and product quality.


• Oversee production planning and on-time delivery.


• Strengthen supply chain performance.

Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in leading multi-site manufacturing operations


• Commercial understanding with ownership of profit and loss and budget control


• Previous record of improving business efficiency, performance and profitability


• Leadership and communication skills


• Dedication to maintaining high quality standards and working towards sustainable growth


• Experience within a wood manufacturing, joinery or CNC would be advantageous
