Head of IT & OT Operations (f/m/d)

As Head of IT \& OT Operations , you will assume overall responsibility for the IT and OT landscape at the Ladenburg site. You will lead your team both professionally and organizationally, implement global strategies locally, and actively drive digitalization, cyber security, and innovation.

Leadership \& Organization

• Overall responsibility for the IT \& OT Operations department at the Ladenburg site


• Professional and organizational leadership of the team as well as coordination of external service providers


• Key point of contact for project management and business management


• Close collaboration with the Global Head of IT \& OT Operations

Strategy, Governance \& Compliance

• Local implementation of the global digitalization, cyber security, and governance strategy


• Continuous further development of standards in coordination with global stakeholders


• Planning, support, and implementation of security audits \& assessments

IT / OT Operations \& Infrastructure

• Responsibility for the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the entire IT \& OT systems landscape


• Planning and execution of maintenance, system upkeep, and incident management


• Responsibility for, among other things:

+ Network, backbone, servers, storage, backup
+ Endpoint management (clients, IoT devices, applications)
+ Cloud systems \& integrations (Microsoft 365, Azure)
+ Telecommunications
+ Process control systems (e.g. ABB, Siemens)

Projects \& Digitalization

• Conceptualization and implementation of digitalization and innovation projects


• Use of SAP, ERP, and MES systems for process optimization


• IT/OT integration in investment and modernization projects


• Technical consulting for the Engineering Department

Cyber Security

• Implementation of all security\-relevant measures resulting from standards and audits


• Responsibility for incident handling and disaster recovery management


• Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, IT, computer engineering , or a comparable field


• Solid experience in both IT AND OT – ideally in a production\-related environment


• Experience in industrial plant engineering or manufacturing environments is an advantage


• Knowledge of SAP is desirable


• A leadership personality with assertiveness, initiative, and strategic thinking


• Strong communication skills, team\-oriented mindset, and confidence in stakeholder management


• Strong performance and results orientation


• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
