Head of IT
PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of IT to lead the delivery, performance and continuous improvement of IT services across Fluid Water Group.
Reporting to the IT Director, you will take ownership of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationship, ensuring exceptional service delivery, accountability and value for the business. You will also lead and develop our internal IT team while providing strategic oversight of infrastructure, cybersecurity, governance and key business systems.
This is a key leadership role that combines operational excellence with strategic thinking and will play a vital part in supporting our ambitious growth plans and business transformation programmes.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own and manage the relationship with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring service levels, KPIs and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Lead service reviews, incident management, continuous improvement initiatives and vendor performance.
- Manage, coach and develop the internal IT team, driving a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Support the development and delivery of the Group's IT strategy and three\-year technology roadmap.
- Manage the IT budget, software licensing, asset management and supplier contracts.
- Oversee the Group's IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, cybersecurity and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Provide leadership and oversight for key business systems including Sage 200, Salesforce and associated integrations.
- Lead IT workstreams within major business projects and transformation programmes, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and provide regular reporting on IT performance, risks and opportunities.

- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership position.
- Strong experience managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and third\-party technology suppliers.
- Experience leading and developing IT teams.
- Good understanding of IT Service Management principles (ITIL).
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune.
- Experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory and networking infrastructure.
- Experience managing IT budgets, contracts and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working within a multi\-site or multi\-entity organisation.
- Strong analytical, problem\-solving and decision\-making skills.
