We are looking for an experienced, motivated and people\-oriented Head of HR Germany (m/f/d) to lead our German HR team in Nuremberg.
In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the European HR Director and take responsibility for all local HR operations in Germany, while also contributing to selected European HR initiatives. You will play an important role in implementing corporate HR strategies, supporting organizational development and fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high\-performing work environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, support and further develop the German HR team
- Drive and continuously improve key HR processes in close collaboration with the German and European HR teams, including:
- Talent acquisition
- HR administration and reporting
- Performance management
- Compensation and benefits
- Learning and development
- Succession planning and retirement management
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, German Labour Law, collective agreements and HR best practices
- Manage employee relations topics, including corporate health management, conflict resolution and disciplinary matters
- Ensure compliance with German and European Labour regulations and coordinate employment\-related legal matters
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives, including the works council, and lead negotiations on agreements where required
- Support organizational change initiatives and contribute to a positive company culture aligned with our corporate values
- Contribute to European HR projects and initiatives, bringing in local expertise and best practices
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labour Law or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in an HR leadership role, ideally within an international and intercultural environment
- Strong expertise in German Labour Law, employment regulations and cooperation with works councils
- Native\-level German and fluent business English skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and empower teams and business partners
- Proactive, hands\-on and solution\-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Trustworthy, empathetic and people\-oriented personality
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels
- Confidence in managing change, complex employee relations topics and cross\-functional HR projects
