We have an exciting opportunity for Head of HR Business Partnering to join us!

This is a full\-time, permanent role with hybrid working \- 3 days per week office based in the Town Hall in Maidenhead, and a salary of £69,083 to £75,442 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Head of HR Business Partnering to join our Human Resources team.

The role:

Reporting to the Assistant Director – HR, Corporate Projects and IT, this role provides strategic leadership and management, securing a strong sense of purpose for the whole HR Service, ensuring all functions operate cohesively within the statutory framework and relevant legislation and are resident and customer focused.

Your role will:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of all aspects of HR business partner support including employee relations, organisational development and health and safety, to internal and external customers.

  • Provide expert advice and support to executive leaders on development and delivery of strategic workforce planning activities.

  • Lead the development and implementation of approaches to talent management, leadership development, succession planning and performance improvement across the organisation.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to executive leaders and senior managers on complex employee relations cases, restructures and organisational change, TUPE transfers and all related matters.

  • Proactively provide expert advice and guidance directly or through the development and leadership of H\&S advisors, to colleagues, executive leadership and elected members where appropriate, on health and safety matters ensuring organisational statutory requirements are met.
What we are looking for:
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing several HR areas and operations.

  • A demonstrable track record of advising and supporting organisational change process including TUPE transfers.

  • Expert knowledge of employment law and substantial experience of complex case advice.

  • Substantial experience of providing senior business partner support within a complex and diverse organisation.

  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service and leading teams to deliver the same.

  • Experience of budget management including both revenue and capital and leading procurement exercises.
